| The Aztec culture (“The Smoky Mirror”; “tezcatl” means polished stone mirror in the Nahuatl language). Main deity in the Nahuatl pantheon, worshipped by the Aztecs, symbol of North, sky and Providence, inventor of fire and divine personification of light (even though his main color is black). Being the lord of the Jaguar knight order, he is considered to be the master of the material world zones. Being son of Sun, he is god of invisible universe, of high magic and warriors’ protector. Sometimes, he is regarded as an oracular deity as he used to send a mirror (that could unveil the future) through his agents (that were, usually, birds). Frequently, he is depicted having an obsidian mirror that substitutes one of his legs. Size: 20x25 cm
